“I just finished reading Woods Cop, and I wanted to give you some feedback on it. Simply put, it was amazing! From the moment I started reading it 3 nights ago I was hooked. There is no doubt I could've read it in it's entirety in one sitting, however I purposely spread it out to ensure each chapter really ‘sank in’. Your writing ability is impeccable and very descriptive. As I read, I felt as though I was either walking along side you in the mountains or sitting in the passenger seat of your Bronco while chasing poachers. Also, the way you describe people and places is incredible, as I can picture in my mind how certain areas and people may look. For example, as I read about Vito ‘The Blade’, I couldn't help but thinking of him as resembling Joe Pesci, in both his appearance and his vocabulary, haha. A few of my favorite chapters included the ‘Cross Fork Commando’, ‘The Silver Fox’, ‘The Blade’, & ‘Coyotee Boy’. However, I thoroughly enjoyed them all. I must also say that the ‘Big Nasty’ story was particularly different, but in a very emotional and heartwarming way. Through your words, you really made me feel for him and I believe it really sent a good message to not judge someone simply based on a reputation or past deeds as people can and do change. With that I must tell you that I do have one complaint, I wish the book was 500 pages instead of 175! LOL. I hope that this is the start of many more books from you in the future, as I know you have many more stories to tell. Once again, outstanding book.”
