Wren is broke, brilliant, and desperate enough to accept Ashworth University's Free Use Scholarship. The terms are explicit: full tuition, housing, and meals in exchange for being available to any professor, staff member, or student on campus. She can leave any time by saying one word. Doing so ends everything.

On her first day, her literature professor bends her over the lectern mid-lecture and uses her in front of sixty students while teaching Hawthorne. By the end of the week, she's on her knees on locker room tile for the rugby team, pressing herself against the glass walls of her dorm room, and discovering that the shame of being watched is the thing that makes her body ignite.

Then there's Nate. The architecture student who looks at her face first. Who makes her feel something slower, deeper, and more dangerous than anything the program demands. And Professor Keane, who won't stop whispering "say the word" while he pushes her further than she thought she could go.
