Cyropaedia is a historical text by Ancient Greek soldier and writer Xenophon, first published in 370 BC. A philosophical and historical work, blending biography, political theory, and moral philosophy, it recounts the life and education of Cyrus the Great, founder of the Persian Empire.

The work follows Cyrus from his youth through his rise to power and eventual founding of a vast empire. Although the historical accuracy is debated, Xenophon depicts Cyrus as an ideal ruler, exploring concepts of effective leadership, education, and statecraft.
